Create an AccountEvery fabric we use is selected with intention — based on how it performs in real life, not just how it looks on paper.
Some materials need to handle salt, sun, and constant movement. Others need to feel soft against the skin or breathe easily in heat.
Below is a breakdown of the key materials in our collections.
Recycled PET polyester is made from recycled plastic bottles, giving post-consumer waste a second life as performance fabric.
We use this material in our boardshorts and swimwear where quick-dry performance, durability, and shape retention are essential.
Across our range, our recycled polyester fabrics contain a minimum of 85% recycled content, depending on the garment and performance requirements.
Boardshorts, swimwear, and active beachwear
TENCEL™ Lyocell is a plant-based fibre made from sustainably sourced eucalyptus wood.
The trees grow quickly and don’t require irrigation or pesticides, and are harvested in a way that allows regrowth.
The fibre is produced in a closed-loop system where up to 99% of non-toxic solvents are recovered and reused.
Cubano shirts, lightweight resort wear
Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, supporting healthier soil systems and reducing chemical exposure in production.
We use it where natural breathability and softness matter most.
T-shirts, everyday essentials
Some of our tees use recycled cotton blended with recycled polyester, helping reduce textile waste while maintaining durability and structure.
These fabrics are selected for everyday wear where longevity and comfort are both important.
Graphic tees and core wardrobe pieces
Where possible, we use recycled or responsibly sourced materials for trims, including buttons, labels, and finishing details.
These small components are part of the overall footprint of a garment, and we aim to make considered choices wherever we can.
We don’t assign one fabric as “best” for everything.
Instead, we match materials to purpose:
This approach allows us to design garments that actually work in real coastal life — not just in theory.
Materials evolve over time as better options become available.
We continue to review new fibres, production methods, and innovations as part of how we grow the brand.
